Ambalapuzha Temple

Ambalappuzha Sri Krishna Temple is a Hindu temple in Ambalappuzha, Alapuzha district of Kerala, India. It is one of the oldest Krishna temples in South India. It was built somewhere in the 15th Century and is a testament to Indian art and architecture. The inner sanctum has a large idol of Lord Krishna and a few paintings inspired by his life. 
Outside the temple there is a large mandapam where you can rest or soak in the fantastic ambiance of the temple. While you are there, do not forget to savour the famous Palpayasam – a sweet milk porridge. is one of the oldest Krishna temples in South India.
